Let the words of my mouth,
and the meditation of my heart,
be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord,
my Rock and my Redeemer. Psalm 19:14

WELCOME This website was developed to examine Scripture (the Holy Bible) more closely and deeply--on our search for truth. Initially conceived and created for ourselves only, we decided to publish this domain and share with others who have a passion to study His Word.

Our 'TRUTH' journey began when we started to read Scripture for ourselves, without any bias, preconceptions, traditions, doctrine, or religious dogma guiding or influencing our thinking. We began to see Him, Jesus (Yeshua, His name in Hebrew) everywhere we looked, especially in the Old Testament, also known as the 'Tanakh'. We began to see the Love of God for all His creation, just like most parents who want only the best for their children. He provides our every need, not everything we want or desire!

What are Torah Portions? TORAH is the compilation of the first five books of the Hebrew Bible (Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy), also known as the Pentateuch or the Five Books of Moses. It is partitioned into approximately 52 portions, so you can read a different one each week. If you read one portion each week, then you will have read through the Torah once a year. Not a bad reading plan, right?

Each Torah portion is linked with readings from other parts of the Holy Bible and encompass three sections: Torah (instructions), Haftarah (prophets), and B'rit Chadashah (Gospel). We find it comforting to know our Messianic Mishpocha (family) are reading the same parts of the Bible with us each week. You could say we are in-sync, and literally on the same page. Even more important is the fact that our Jewish brothers and sisters around the world are also reading the same Torah portion. What better way to relate/connect with them than to discuss the current portion everyone is reading? How else can we possibly understand Jewish culture, customs, and/or traditions unless we familiarize ourselves with what Scripture tells us. Is this not exactly what Paul did when he brought the Gospel to the Gentiles (John 4:22)? Let us not forget he was Jewish, too!

Other links and information: As you navigate other links presented in the menu above, you will discover lots of information that may help expand and compliment your studies. Once we started reading the Bible for ourselves, we were shown something different from what we had been told. We felt misled and out of touch with what His Word actually says for those who follow Him. We had lots of questions and we sought out our congregational leaders for answers. Their explanations left us confused, because they did not line up with what the Holy Bible says.

If you are here, it is either because you were shared our site or the Ruach HaKodesh has led you here. God is now first and center in our lives and we live according to His commandments, statutes, precepts, and instructions. His Son showed us how to live and He loved us SO MUCH that He gave up His life for us.

Blessings, Mishpocha Elohim.
